From another forum.... ---------- Vulture vomit+dead skunk+maggots=worst mess ever What is the worst thing you have had to clean up??? I am a vet in a rural area. One day a lady brings this big a$$ vulture in the clinic and said it was hit by a car. The vulture was pretty stable but very scared, I did not know that they defend themselves by regurgitating their food. Apparently this vulture had been chowing down on a roadkill skunk that was infested with some fish bait sized maggots. After a couple minutes this vulture hurls all this dead skunk, maggots and who knows what breakfast was all over the floor--the staff clears the building like a bunch of roaches when the lights go on and I'm standing there holding this big bird while it tries to get away. Well, I make my way outside to let the critter go and it flies off seemingly OK. I go back in to clean the mess and make a new rule-- all vultures will be treated outside from now on--no exceptions. That is the only vulture I have ever seen as a patient and hope I don't see any more. What is worst thing you ever cleaned up??? That dirty jobs dude gets some dandy side jobs, if I ever need blood, I want his!!!! He has been exposed to more stuff. Keep on stinking- BLATT
