MP43 beat me to it. A romanian VZ-24 is just a rifle made under contract for the romanian army by Brno. There isint much differnece between a true czech VZ24 and a romanian contract or one for another country. I think the crests on the romanians were scrubbed post WW2.

Just pulled one of these out of layaway @ Freedom Pawn. Feel like I got an excellent deal on it for $108. including tax.Numbers don't match; HRxxx.Bore needs a good scrubbing but looks great. Stock needs attention but can be refinished. Looking forward to shooting it.

You'll quadruple your money someday if you leave the stock alone.

Libertytreecollectors.com has surplus milspec replacement parts for sale on these and many other rifles. FYI. Mine needs as replaced upper hand guard that is cracking. Wanting to try it out. Hopefully on my days off I'll get to put its latest round down range. Neat ol' gun.

Yes but what they are not selling is originality.

The K31 could be anywhere from $200 to $500, depending on its condition, whether it has a walnut stock or a beech stock, if the numbers match or not, etc. Can't help with the Vz24, as I've never collected those.

VZ-24's in usual shape go for about $200 or so. If its super nice, matching numbers maybe $300 tops. All the ones I have bought off gunbroker and gunauction.com have been $150-$225
