I bought the wife a ballpoint pen that actually writes but pulling the top off reveals a very pointed dagger. We've been on a few flights and the TSA didn't catch her. I realized that she had the thing in her purse and stopped that nonsense. But in a struggle with an assailant it would deter them if they got stuck.
It's a shame that liberals and people on the sidewalks want to harm others who haven't done anything to them but you absolutely have to be prepared for anything these days.
