I checked at WM in Bartlesville, nothing was marked down more than the usual prices we can beat online. This was right at 5PM.

I've been in numerous times checking various 'deals' I see online for stuff supposedly in stock and on crazy blowout pricing. B'ville either never has it, or the employees can't be bothered to check. They have always told me the online stock counters are just wrong and they don't have it. It's annoying.

But as for the ammo, nothing marked down in Bartlesville yesterday.

I'm going to have to eat my words.

I went at lunch and they had marked it down. I'm almost* (but not quite) embarassed to admit how much I bought, and I'm going to have to count it up, but I know it was over 5,000 rounds. Maybe closer to 10,000, but I don't think I made it THAT far. By the end, people were surrounding the ammo counter cheering as they kept pulling boxes off the shelf. lol

I almost felt bad, then I remembered how long it has been since I bought ANY significant amounts of ammo and realized my stock of .223/5.56 is actually getting low. I am probably under 1,000 rounds.

I refrained from the .45ACP, as I have several thousand rounds of that at home and I seldom shoot it anymore, so you see???? See???? I exercised restraint! I left some for others!

I also left some .40 (which I do shoot) and even a few boxes of .223 on the shelf for others, I only bought 2 boxes of .38 and 2 boxes of .38 +P.

I think I was pretty magnanimous in leaving ANYthing on the shelf! lol

Cleaned out Blackwell this afternoon of 9mm.
2800 rounds. On top of the 1100 rounds bought there yesterday for a 3900 round total.
Our local POS Walmart is still full price.

I went back to 81st/Lewis in Tulsa and got 600 rounds of .40 S&W. They still had some left, but in 50 and 100 round boxes but works out to the same price (about $15 per 100). I took the three 200 round boxes of Winchester White Box. I think I saw some .223 but don't remember for sure, but there are still some deals there.

I went to Newcastle today. Their shelves have no 9, 40, 45, .223/5.56 or 7.62x39. I asked the gal at the counter if I missed the sale and she told me that they sold some and gave the rest to the PD.
