I am searching for a .243 cal, semi auto for the up coming deer season. I have a friend, that can't shoot ar platform rifles. Remington Woodmaster comes to mind first or Browning second. He has medical problems (cancer), and this may possibly be his last season if he makes it. He is taking treatments and has a chest port, and other issues. He thinks he can handle the recoil of the .243. If anyone has something along these lines or if you know of someone that may have something, Please let me know. He and I are closer than brothers, so I am trying to make sure he can hunt this year. Thanks in advance.
