Scrapes, rubs, poop, tracks, most of it pretty fresh, within a week or two.&nbsp; Seems they&#039;re way more nocturnal this year than in the past, possibly.&nbsp; I&#039;ve had a couple walk near me after dark and before light.&nbsp; I think my problem is that I&#039;m not staying out til midday - I&#039;ve only done that once; stayed out til 2:00 pm.&nbsp; I think a lot of them are just bedding the whole morning, then getting up at 10, 11, noon to take a piss or feed.&nbsp; Last weekend saw 8 deer in three groups on scouting day (Friday), but NONE on Sat (all day) or Sun morning - except the ones killed by hunters at the check station.&nbsp; Then two on Sunday noon driving home, 50 yards from the highway.&nbsp; Oh yeah, I saw several dozen turkeys while hunting, and could have shot two of them - dangit, I wish they&#039;d extend fall turkey gun to include the first two days of deer season.</p></blockquote><p></p>
