High concentration - 5000 grit (2-3 micron) lapping paste: https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Lapidary-Paste-Grit-Micron/dp/B07RZN4753/ref=asc_df_B00BBMB0H8/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310828259700&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17691826556070476132&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026286&hvtargid=pla-569148359440&mcid=f0ea03e662943de88d298166e5781413&ref=&adgrpid=65583250281&gclid=CjwKCAiAlJKuBhAdEiwAnZb7lZj5b-drJ6m0R8Coiru-0qNc9eSKm2-UxM5gEUrAQwY_s2SZkh40gRoCT-sQAvD_BwE&th=1 Works like a charm, but takes some time and effort. You can finish even more with 0.5 to 1 micron lapping paste if you're so inclined, but generally the 5000 grit will get most of the scratches out. The finer grits can remove anything left behind from the felt wheel. Just go in short bursts, keeping the heat down. Best if the crystal is removed and buffed on a stationary Dremel.
