I've really been wanting an Elgin A-11 with a coin edge bezel (or a Bulova A-11 with a sterling silver case) and an Elgin A-17, but this Bulova A-17A will be a good place holder until then. I probably need to buy the Military Timepieces book by Whitney before investing in an A-11. Most of them are just Frankenwatches nowadays and I need to be a little more knowledgeable on details like correct dials and crowns.
