Very diverse culture and geography with abundant resources and a major port with some minor ones too. Texas highways connect east and west and north and south. Plenty of airports large and small. A diverse, well educated and very proud population. Strong agricultural, industrial and technology sectors. Their economy is strong and getting stronger and is larger by GDP standards than most of the nations on the planet.Texas has a lot going for it. It could make it as a stand alone nation. It might have to go thru some birthing pains but it would make it.</blockquote>
