Went yesterday after the rain and hooked and landed 3 paddlefish.
All small 25 and 30 lb.
Son got one also same size.. all tossed back.
We began snagging about 4:30 pm and tried below the dam at 1500 feet down and even tried jigging for catfish or sandbass whatever wants a jig.. No bites. did snag a paddlefish on a jig though.
Lost my throw net..Lead weights on it
Water is very high and brutal.. bring extra clothes or go home soaked.
They have many gates open and churning out the water..it is up on the sidewalk below the dam
and rising.
It is hitting the rip rap so hard it will sometimes splash over 7 feet high.
Yep I was soaked driving home.
Caught 3 good fighters though.. Not complaining.
