Mostly I can't see both sights on a rifle.
So it would be spray and pray. :)

I did manage to guess this with my tackleberry 629 at 50 yards though.

I was pretty surprised when I saw it.

You guys have about convinced me to avoid public ranges in the future. Or, rather the guys you talk about--and snap pictures of--have about convinced me to avoid public ranges in the future. Geez Louise!

At our range in Ponca, 99.9% of the folks really follow the rules. That .1% that doesn't really do a lot of damage to our steel, and target frames that we leave out.

Unfortunately, some of us have no other option. You just have to be vigilant and be prepared to pick up and leave if it gets crowded or unsafe. I won't hesitate to speak up if I see unsafe behavior on the firing line.

Proof positive that all "gun guys" are not automatically smart, skilled, or competent....

Sometimes "my people" scare me more than everyone else.

FWIW this is the first I've seen at this range, but remember Deer season is rapidly approaching and the crazies will be hitting the range soon to "Sight In" their trusted deer slayer.

After having watched the move "Idiocracy" a few times. I believe the "dumbing down" of the population is in full swing.

Lol, the first time I saw that movie I told GC "That's not a comedy ... it's a documentary."

    Hey, don't be a hater.
He saw the Governor in "The Walking Dead" take down a running man at 75 yards with one shot using the same sighting technique.
And it was hand held no less.
Heck, isn't that the way everyone shoots?
