Yasha's a pretty good guy. I used to go around the country buying surplus for him.
Bought 3 1/2 semis of carbine stocks, slings, 22 rifle stocks, shotgun stocks for him at Anniston Al.
Had new in wrapper Carbine, Garand, Bar and other slings. One crate was Kerr no-buckle slings new in cellophane wrap.
Of course back then they weren't worth anything. Wish I had a box of them today.
It was my biggest purchase.
It was so much that 25 years later he's still selling the stuff.
One crate was full of carbine paratrooper stocks, so he said.
That was when Nixon died. Had to sit in Anniston cause they closed the base for a couple days. April 94
