Check it: Just snagged a Magnum Research Magnumlite rifle with the uni-directional CF bbl from the 20% off rack at H&H - it has a brown laminated wood skeletonized stock - pretty sweet - can't wait to shoot it. Oh yeah, caliber is .22 magnum. Slapped a cheapie Mueller scope on it for now. Interested in pic? EDIT: Update - I just picked out the perfect scope for a match made in heaven for this rifle, I think: The Sightron SII Big Sky 4.5-14x50mm with NO A.O / S.F! http://swfa.com/Sightron-45-14x50-SII-Big-Sky-Riflescope-P9174.aspx Only 15.2 oz, it's a light scope for a light rifle - a real versatile field and range rig both. But the Elite 6500 2.5-16x50mm and a couple of Vortex and Elite 3200s look good too. And one Nikon Monarch. Was thinking of the Accupoint 5-20x50, but that dadgummed thing is 27 oz! The SIIIs and the upper Vortexes are too heavy as well! Anything else I should consider? I'm looking for under $750, very lightweight, very high quality, no AO or SF, excellent eye relief, highest magnif possible up to 6-20 or 6-24, and a 50 or 56mm objective (this rifle has a lot of room down to the barrel even with extra low rings). This one is a possibility, too, on the lower price end, but it's got a side focus - fine for the range, but this one is for critters and range both: http://swfa.com/Nikon-4-12x50-Buckmaster-Riflescope-P42207.aspx Plus it's 21 oz. Here's another budget choice, but also has the AO, and is 19 oz.: http://swfa.com/Bushnell-5-15x50-Elite-3200-Rifle-Scope-P241.aspx
