So lots of folks have some funny ways of talking... For me, one thing that kind of irritates me is when you ask somebody how long something has been going on, or how long it's been since whatever, and they say, "I dunno, it's been a minute." I mean, in my line of work, getting at least some kind of indication of the duration of a problem or since something happened or was done is kind of a big deal. I've even had people whom refused to put any kind of timeframe on an event or occurrence, even after being prompted several times, such as, "Are we talking a couple of days, or 3 months, or 5 years?" Sometimes they won't even narrow it down to those very vague timeframes - THOSE people, I want to slap - not really, but I DO want to get up and walk out, because you're just wasting my time and literally telling me you DGAS enough to put any thought into an answer, and most of the time these are people looking to me to help find a solution to the problem at hand. "I dunno, it's been a minute." Well, GTFO and get back to me when you get a clue.
