Like Ross Perot money? I don't disagree with you but that money would have to back candidates that are not the establishment. Bridenstein seems to be able to buck the establishment. The next POTUS election looks to me to be critical. If the GOP fails to win the presidency next year the effects may be beyond repair in my lifetime. If the Republicans in federal office are too gutless to do what the electorate obviously sent them there to, what will another term with a Democrat in the White House do for us. Give them someone they don't have to pretend to fight and maybe we can catch our breath and begin to make real changes. Otherwise, the game is likely to be truly lost for this and the next generation. As much as voting for the lesser of the evils offends the thinking, informed voter, it is what it is and what we have to work with now. The stakes are too high to 1) not get involved and help facilitate the changes in the long term and 2) get behind A candidate that can win in the short term. What will executive regulatory policy look like? Who will appoint the next Supreme Court justices? There will be appointments in the next term. Foreign policy -- will Hillary reverse the disaster that she helped create? Next election vote out the bums in Congress and make sure they know why. For president there will only be one choice -- I hope it is least of the evils.
