I generally refer to it as "living on the edge." Largely because I have a tendency to want to stand at the edge of a cliff and take a picture straight down. Black Canyon of the Gunnison On that trip my wife's oldest sister told me to not get any closer. So naturally, I had to take one step closer to the edge. With that in mind, the wife and I took a trip to Toroweap Overlook at the north side of the Grand Canyon. The cliffs there are 3,000 feet high. The wind was pretty strong that day, and if I got anywhere as close as 20 feet to the edge, she started hollering at me. That day I didn't live on the edge. Toroweap Overlook looking westward.
