I have noticed .45 has gone up also
Everyone wants 9mm because .45 is overrated and lame.
I want 'em all on my team. And, I've got plenty of 'em all.
Only thing I'm 'kinda' low on is .380acp. If it gets so critical that the .380 is required, we're all screwed.

I pretty well quit shooting my 45 once I got into the Hi Power...then the P226 so I guess I got bit by the bug.
False info alert. 9mm is for limp wristed shooters that can't handle .45ACP!
BTW no matter what you've heard......size does matter.

I'm one of those that recently ditched my .40 S&W for the mighty 9mm. Years ago I was brainwashed by many old timers that 9mm wasn't what it's cracked up to be. One old dog said it didn't have enough ass on it and the guy that basically taught me everything I know, called the 9mm a pusillanimous sub caliber baby rabbit gun.
However...
I do believe the 9mm has been technologically revamped and updated as to the point of equality as its rival cartridges that start with the number 4. So yes, I carry a 9mm and do not feel undergunned at all.
