It's harvested too many to count with 85gr. partitions since 1984, she carried it last year, but never pulled the trigger on it in the field. She's had lot's of range time with it and shoots it well.

Either a 30-30 or 30-06, I have several of each and they are all great bambi killers.

I guess I'll throw in what i'm using this year, killed an 8 point last year near Vici with it at 520 yards. Surgeon RLR with a krieger 5r barrel Chambered in .284 Win. Premier Heritage 5-25x56 with the Gen2 XR reticle. Shooting 180 berger hybrid.

What's your twist for the 180's buster11? I have a .280AI with a 1-9 and have been wanting to try the 180's but was unsure if I was fast enough.

I have a 1-9 also, the 180s should work great for you. I really like the hybrids, so far they have been extremely easy to find very accurate loads.
