I guess I'm the only one with a 35 remington....thats the one I'll be in the woods with....190gr hard cast bullets....

I hear it's a nice caliber. I hear folks like to hunt black bears with 'em.
Is yours a Marlin 336? I haven't seen a gun chambered in .35 Rem in the entire metro OKC.

yes its a marlin 336, the caliber is not too popular around here but its like a 30-30 on steroids....not a lot of recoil but handles bullets up to 220gr pretty well, light, easy to carry -- and the wide meplat bullets have a bunch of knock down built into them...the 190's are about 2000fps mv

A custom browning a bolt chambered in 7 stw. And Ill probably take a doe with my pet 220 swift. Devastating for head shots. When I go back to Arkansas to hunt with my dad I'll carry my old savage 99 in 250 savage.
