Most items have been reduced in package size ad qty. Ritz crackers for example. I noticed it several years ago. Toilet paper has reduced in width about an inch. How do I know, well 24 years ago when my house was built I installed the toiler paper roll hangers and set them to just over the width of a roll, now theres a little over an inch in side to side play. Most bottled goods have a large indentation in the bottom of the bottle, yet the over all bottle width and height remains the same, but you still get less volume, so less product. Liquid laundry soap, tide for example, reduced the thickness of the jugs, from the front they look the same but when you pick one up its thinner, yup fewer loads per bottle, same price.
