What's the wait time on renewals running now?

I had a complete brain fade and didn't renew the day I got the notice form the OSBI.

My permit expires on the 7th of July,,,
I'll have the renewal form, photos, and cashier's check in the mail tomorrow morning.

Anyone have an idea on how long the renewal takes to get back to me?

Just in case I run afoul of an anti SDA cop.

Very few in these parts, but an even easier way is just to keep a copy on your smart phone. I have a copy in iBooks on my iPhone

I found it with your help and printed that section out.

Unfortunately I have met several anti-SDA cops here in Stillwater,,,
One on the Stillwater PD, one in the OSU campus cops,,,
And two Payne county sheriff's deputies.

One of the deputies tried to write me up for brandishing in a mini-mart,,,
My Hawaiian shirt rode up and exposed my Elsie Pea,,,
This was 7-8 months after open carry passed.

So I'm looking at probably 2 months,,,
I am surprised at that time frame.

One would think that a renewal would go so much quicker than that,,,
After all, all of the deep digging has already been done.

It should be a search for stuff within the last 5 years only.

Oh well,,,
I'm a patient man.

I suspicion with the Orlando shooting and the radical left talking gun control, there will be another jump in gun purchases and requests for carry licenses . The fools scream gun control and millions of new weapons and rounds of ammo are purchased. As a result, the wait period for a carry license, or renewal, may get longer.

Very true. My girl needs to get hers, all she needs is money and a couple passport photos. More than likely I am going to foot the bill.

I highly recommend doing it online. From the people I've had apply from recent classes it seems the online apps are processing faster.
