Putting scope or red dot on receiver is basically worthless. I have one my Dad bought me when I was 14 (I'm 71 now) still have it but it would throw rounds every where with the scope. Dad was so pissed at it he bought me a Browning A5. I took scope off and that rifle is so accurate with open sights. Killed hundreds if not thousands of squirrels with it with open sights. You can take hold of the barrel and move it around in the receiver.</p></blockquote><p></p>
