I've got a few; 1.) Marlin lever-action 22 rifle that my dad finally passed down to me about 5 years ago. I used to sneak this out of the house to shoot squirrels, rabbit, cans, etc when I was a boy. I could light a match with this thing at 100 yards don't ya know!! 2.) Marlin Lever-action 30-30. This belonged to my grandpa (mothers side). This man was my hero and my inspiration. He literally taught me everything I know about hunting, fishing and being a man. He approached me when I was in my mid-twenties and asked me to take this gun. This was a BIG deal.....there were 10 grandsons and we ALL wanted it. In private, he told me that HE wanted me to have it because I was the only one he could trust to keep it and not sell it. I don't have son's, but this rifle will be passed on to one of my daughters or one of their sons, god willing. 3.) S&W Revolver - This gun belonged to my grandpa (Fathers side). This was his service pistol and used to win several law enforcement matches. He carried it while on the Modesto Sherrifs department and again in several Oklahoma sheriff roles. Don't think he ever shot at or anyone with it....but, I do know the butt has smashed lots of noggins!!! DB
