I'll go first. I met Santa in Wichita Falls in 1960 or 61. He gave me a mini-loaf of Mrs. Bairds Bread. I remember a vague sense of dissapoint.
The next time I met Santa was in the parking lot of Sears and Robucks in Odessa. Sixty two or three, something like that.
He came in on a helicopter, which was a very big deal. That's the last time I saw Santa.

How about you OSA?

I went to a Christian private school when I was younger and they told us that Santa wasn't real in kindergarten I believe. Since then I have given thanks to god and the people who actually got the presents. Santa was just a mall poser. Lol

I had a rough childhood. Didnt know there was a Christmas or Birthday until i was old enough to know better.

My kids however believed in Santa until they were 11-12 y/o.

Somewhere I have a picture of me trying very hard to slide off Santa's lap and run for it. I must have been about 4. The last time I saw Santa was 20 years later at an Arby's in Rochester, NY. He gave me a lollipop and a big smile. As he left I realized my shirt had come unbuttoned under my coat and he had got a good look at my bra.

Once I had the strange experience of being mistaken for Santa. I had a full beard, was wearing a green down jacket and had a green dufflebag, full of dirty clothes, slung over my shoulder. As I walked toward the laundromat, a young boy was watching me and as I approached him, his eye's got bigger and bigger. About the time I realized what he was thinking, he realized that I wasn't Santa and the magic evaporated.

When I was too young to remember. Still believe in him too. Both the saint that was a turk orphaned and the heir of a fortune who gave up everything to help poor children to the everlasting spirit of charity and goodwill.
