I went out in my yard last week and was met by a snarling dog,,,
I reached for the knife I keep clipped in my back pocket,,,
And despite having practiced opening it one-handed,,,
I fumbled the opening for a few seconds.

    Now I want a switch-blade,,,
But I have no idea what is out there.

I'm going to OK City next weekend for a day trip,,,
Is there a store that has a large selection for me to look at?

    Thanks in advance,,,

If you meet any of the requirements for discounts, (FD/PD/EMS, Military) i’d look online before I paid retail.

Benchmade for example has a discount program.

Better to fumble with your current knife than slice the tendons in your hand. An automatic requires no less training and ability than one that isnt

So...how are you supposed to train with a knife you don't have?

FWIW, I was looking for an OTF knife until I bought a Zero Tolerance flipper. Son of a gun, that's one smooth action; if I didn't know better, I'd swear that it was spring-assisted.

If you can stand H&H they usually have a good selection of Protech switchblades.I own quite a few and feel for the same money as a benchmade they are a step or 2 above in quality.

    Thanks sedona,,,

    I'm mixed on H&H,,,
One time I go there ,nd am treated like a king,,,
Another time I go there and am treated like wet dirt.

But I drive by there when I visit family,,,
I'll drop in and check out their selection.

Your welcome. The tactical response 3 or TR3 is similar to a glock 17.Little Joes boots is another place that has Protech but they are even higher than H&H.

I really don't need much of a blade,,,
2.5 - 3" would suit me just fine.

I just need it to have a pocket clip.
