Over the years I've owned probably a couple dozen. The problem with them is that they're so small they're easy to lose. Also, the spring that the scissors use can break after a time. I love those little knives and hope to never be without one. But I think a 6 year old would be well off with something a little bigger with a primary blade that locks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
