Also having the Rolex Explorer serviced, no longer perpetual, self winding ceased functioning. Looking forward to getting both back. Apparently part of Factory or Authorized Service centers is apearance restoration in both invoices. Price in both cases actually lower than a local watch repair. With the Ball because of the tritium glow tubes only way to replace them is through factory service. My advice, if buying an expensive watch, make sure you get warranty cards at a minimum. They have saved me money on service. Also be careful when buying, there are many fakes, some are really, really good. Also have seen on higher end watches on ebay, add a cost of service to the seller's price if used. Have seen this with several friends. Really think I need to go the route of Thor447. Would have saved me quite a bit of money on a few watches I've serviced in the past 7 years.</p></blockquote><p></p>
