Poor man's Rolex or not, it's definitely one of the best alternatives, as are the monochrome METAS Black Bays. Even if costs were equal, I still think that I would prefer the Ranger dial over the Explorer dial. I think the Ranger has a better bracelet as well (unless the Explorer's bracelet clasp has been recently updated and I'm unaware of it). All in all, I think the Ranger is a bargain, especially on the used market.</p></blockquote><p></p>
