Fox had stories earlier on their web page of Bloomberg spending $2 million to fund anti gun ads in favor of an anti gun dem and attacking ads against her closest pro-gun candidate in Chicago. The antis are upping the stakes and throwing around huge chunks of money to push their agenda. We can not let up in this fight.

Have to love how the NRA is criticized for influencing votes with the money from several million members, but a Bloomberg can do the same thing representing just his beliefs and not be criticized by the likes of CNN.

This jumped out at me from the article linked in the OP:

David Keene, president of the NRA, went to Denver last month to meet with Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper and Senate President John Morse.

Keene called universal background checks a political “sweet spot” and added that the current background check systems are underfunded and that forcing them on private sales would be logistically difficult.

That is our problem - UBCs are a "sweet spot" for the politicians. They make a nice sound bite to please the public and make themselves look good while undermining the second amendment.
