I had a gent call me about a vet bring back German STG44. I didnt have the slightest idea of the rules and regs for a weapon like that, so I told him I would try to find someone who could better answer his questions about possibly selling the weapon.

I would love to take a look at it. Hopefully it is papered and if it is I couldn't afford it. I'm not a dealer of any kind I'd just like to get some pictures.

I would love to see it too, was told the deceased owner had bring back papers and the feds had made him plug the barrel with lead and checked with him yearly to make sure he still had it.

I know nothing about class 3 regs so I am trying to steer the current owner to someone that may be able to give decent advice. Even if he ends up donating it to a museum to get rid of it thats better than the feds chopping it up.
