I've had a few bikes in the past. Mostly started with a Honda Nighthawk 750, moved to a Honda 919 and then added a Honda VT1300 Sabre (apparently I have a thing for Honda's). I sold my 919 and the Sabre a couple of years back after I realized I wasn't getting the enjoyment out of them that I once did. I have/had joint problems from being way too overweight most of my life and anything over a couple hours on one would cause a lot of pain for me. I would like to get another in the future, but it'll probably be a Can-Am Spyder, so most people won't really see it as a motorcycle (which I'm fine with). On a motorcycle, I was never comfortable with the idea of having a passenger and my wife was never comfortable with being one. We both think that the Spyder will be a great compromise for both of us in that respect. Plus, I think it'll be more comfortable on my joints (and I'm not even that old). Of course, that is much lower on the list of things that I want to buy in the future. Most important goal to me right now is to buy a few acres out in the country so I can pee off the back porch whenever I feel like it. 😁 😁 My Sabre was the black one on the left.
