I personally don't think they're all that great. It's kind of like the cash for clunkers idea to me. If you drive a 10 year old car or older that gets 15 mpg with no car payment, how is it better to get a brand new car that gets maybe 20mpg better? Now you have a car payment which you most likely can't afford if you're driving a 10 year old car anyways, and the fuel pump savings aren't going to make up the added costs per month.</p></blockquote><p></p>
