It has been a long time since I went truck shopping, so I can't say how things are now, but back when I was looking, it seemed that there was a lot more room in the Ford pickups than in either the GM or Dodge pickups. I don't know if your Mega-cab gives more leg room in the rear seat or not compared to Ford, but I know that when I was last looking, neither GM nor Dodge could match the towing capabilities of the Ford F450 in 2008-2009. I even had one Dodge salesman try to sell me on the capability of his 4500 by calling a customer and letting me talk to the guy. I asked what kind of weights with trailers he was pulling, and his answer was a LOT less than the 18,500 lbs that our fifth wheel would weigh. After that, the salesman tried bashing Ford and its "regen" by talking about YouTube videos he had seen. I walked out on him at that point. If one can't sell their product on its own merits, then don't bother talking to me.
