It's not the TSA that upsets me every time I fly - it's the airlines; their employees; and the other passengers. I remember the day when airlines treated their customers like royalty - nice, comfortable seats with actual leg room; and a nice in-flight meal if your trip lasted over an hour and a half. Nowadays you get no food onboard other than the occasional small bag of peanuts thrown at you by an overworked, underpaid flight attendant (I also remember when they were called "Stewardesses" and were proud of it!). The flights now are rarely on time, meaning you wind up sitting in an airport in a different city for longer than it would have taken you to drive in the first place. There are fewer routes with fewer planes, meaning most every flight is at or close to capacity. And added to all this are the obnoxious, demanding passengers whom I seem to get seated next to or near on every flight. So, all things considered I now find myself driving if I can get there in ten hours or less.
