Jeep is unique.  Rough & tumble for off road, harder riding, noisy etc etc etc.  We have had eight Jeeps since the mid-90's, but never a Wrangler type.  Maybe we were lucky but the worse maintenance we encountered was two clogged fuel injectors, a stuck shift lever, and a hose leak.

It is a cult like following similar to Harley Davidson. (had that too!).  Huge after market, the best off-road experience stuff, rallys, social events, ducks and free spirit attitude.   I'm not into froo froo cars either.

I just bought the wife a new Compass 4WD Latitude Altitude.  Fully loaded and really fun to drive.  Our other Jeep is a Grand Cherokee Limited X.

If you look at Facebook Marketplace and auto trader, there are tons of Wranglers with between 100k and 200k miles on them.  As with any brand of vehicle, there will be lemons.  My two Fords were the worse and expensive maintenance cars I have owned.  But are all Fords bad?  It happens!
