I saw a newer Jeep 4 door wrangler on the service rack when I had my pickup in for work recently.

I asked the mechanic about the Jeep as I used to own a 1998 XJ Cherokee. He showed me some really poorly worn suspension parts. He said the geometry of the newer Wranglers was poorly designed and components made from weak materials. It was a $3500 front ènd replacement nightmare. Low quality steel in shock mounts had bent and also upper control arm was bent. This had caused a brake line to get kinked and the whoĺe section of brake line had to be replaced. He said it was an alignment nightmare to work on
