Wife went to GW today.

While I was getting my beauty sleep today the wife and her daughter when on a little mom/daughter trip to Pauls Valley etc. They went by some chocolate factory, an action figure museum, and to GW animal park.

For anyone interested in taking a kid now is a good time to do it. They took the back tour again and got to hold and play with some baby tigers including a week old white tiger.

I will post pics as soon as she gets the film developed.

Awwwww ... I "need" to do the chocolate factory. We have been talking about taking a day trip while GC is on his day's off ... this sounds like fun!

We went a few months ago and had a great time. The kids loved holding the baby tiger. They want to go back when they have a baby bear.

I've been to the chocolate factory. The tour is short then on to the store where all the broken candy is available for sampling. Their big claim to fame is choc covered potato chips. Neiman Marcus sells them for a huge mark-up.

After that go to Fields rd and tour the pie factory. Not much for samples but they sell their pies for $3.50 at the factory. They have many more flavors than just pecan, including lemon, german choc, butterscotch (made for Marie Callenders) and fruit in season. They are all gooooood!
