If you saw my last thread about the J. Stevens shotgun, I also acquired a broken Winchester model 100 chambered in .243. For some reason it just doesn’t function. Has anyone ever tinkered with one? Or can anyone recommend a gunsmith that would work on one. I’m not against dropping it off with a gunsmith in OKC. Maybe the Woodward guys will chime in on the quality of the gunsmith at Butch’s Guns in Woodward.

Yeah. This thread is dead. Other one ain’t worth it. I’m just gonna chop both of them up with a saw and throw them away.

Before doing that bring them to me. I love tinkering with old guns. Give me something to do.

If I was not looking for a CC I was comfortable with, I would.
