My youngest son left yesterday to duck hunt with a couple friends around El Reno, and my brother and a friend are heading up today for the rifle opener. I would like to wish all of you safe and successful hunts this weekend.

I have worked 19 days straight with no end in sight until probably March, but that is the price of self employment in the chicken business.

I talked to my son this morning, and they had a three man limit by 8 and were going to look for some geese this afternoon. His dog was about to freeze to death, and they were going back to the motel to try get him warmed up.

Actually yes, I eat ALOT of chicken. I rarely ever see the birds. When I am on the farms, they are between flocks.

Sounds like his lab needs some fat. Too easy of a life in east Texas.
