Yeah, in the purse carry is the current method of choice for my wife. Plenty of tactical considerations, but one benefit is a full size pistol!
edit: though I did meet a lady cop that carries a glock around 2:30ish in a comp-tac kydex holster (w/ moleskin). She was in pretty good shape for it.
