Of course, enlistees are given the supposed choice as to their duty assignment but for all practical purposes you get sent to do the job the army wants you to do based on its needs, not your own. I spent over a year filling an MOS slot not even closely related to my actual MOS. If they are gonna put females in combat roles as a matter of course then make it mandatory for them and if they cannot hack it then boot them from the service if the intention is to be fair.</p></blockquote><p></p>
