Woodman's Pal

I just picked up the Woodman's Pal (16.5" 23oz) and wondered if others had it and what they thought. I am probably going to go out this weekend to clear some brush, if so I will do a review.

I got one for my wife (engraved) for our 15th anniversary (I believe it was)...

They are handy. You can use that hook on briars and small cedars, bend them over with your foot, yank that hook up.

A guy that worked for me a few years ago had one. He liked it alright until we bought all of our crews the Gerber Brush Thinner. I don't think he used the Pal after that.

The Gerber Gator looked similar to the Pal. I may try one of the Thinners in the future. I liked the advertised hacker, puller, shovel of the Pal.
