If I chose to I could run a squad of 12 shooters at a time but that probably won’t happen. The ties were cheap insurance. We did them double width and used rebar to tie them into the ground and each other. Really solid for sure. Also did tie backs into the berm itself. Didn’t need any dirt, just a dozer operator that knew what he was doing. Gravel was fist sized for a base, the smaller sized on top. Good luck with your project.
