It's cool but a cap and ball? Imagine the coolness of a giant S&W500 round being stuffed into a giant .50cal revolver....

That wasn't a 50 cal it was a 28 mm which should be bout an 1" and an 1/8 or there a abouts.

I guess a giant S&W500 round wouldn't be a .50 Cal anymore lol. Maybe there's a law against giant cartridges because then they become artillery or something.

Actually the same caliber limitation applies for open or concealed carry if I recall correctly, and that maximum is .45. It eliminates the Smith 500 and some other big boomers. Othewise, a sturdy set of wheels like a hand pulled golf cart, a nice bipod, and some really big balls, and you would be good to go.

Yeah, anything with a rifled bore over .5" is considered a "destructive device". You could legally build a massive .50 BMG revolver though.

I guess you could build a 40mm revolver on a form 1, that would be pretty sick
