Another long shot for a local forum but you never know who could be shedding their collection. Marlin 1893 in 25-36.

I’d be interested in two others as well.
Vintage (1900 give or take) Marlin 1894 in 25-20.
Vintage Marlin 1891 in .22.

PM me for any of the three.

Unusual caliber got my interest. There are a couple on Gunbloker for $900-1050, but my God, the ammo runs $500 a box and up. I thought my 50 cal was bad.:coffee2:

You COULD call me crazy😂

But that could work in your favor. If someone never gets to shoot it, might make them think about selling. Or not!

Seriously, GB sellers are the worst for gouging on ammo. Auctions and estate sales are the only place. I usually keep around 250 cases on average per rifle I’m working with. In this case I would definitely limit myself to finding & filling a sleeve or at most a 50-round cartridge box.

Casting your own is a must for this sort of interests.
