I have an Essex 1911. Low serial number, series 70. Colt gold cup slide, barrel (I think) and NM bushing. I installed a Kimber adjustable rear sight and cut a dovetail for the front sight to get rid of the factory staked one. The slide is cerakoted. PM if interested.
