Message: <blockquote data-quote="p238shooter" data-source="post: 1974286" data-attributes="member: 24583"><p>My apology to seeming to flog you a little, but I am pissed with all the underhanded stuff going on.  This item was on FOX news a while back, was highlighted heavily for a day or so, and then they moved on to the next farce.  It was about a week before the timing of the mandatory deadline for the contractors to handout their notices in case the tax cut special committee could not come to agreement and defense contracts will be cancelled.  He did this so the notices would not be put out before the election that hundreds of thousands of defense company workers might be cut. I do not remember the details of how early a contractor has to notify a worker that he may be terminated at the moment, but it was going to fall before the election.  This is why he is maneuvering to do this.  Not any different than major parts of Obama care that will not kick in until Jan 1, 2013. (after the election) that will hammer small businesses and common Americans.  Surprise.</p></blockquote><p></p>
