Really??? All you stanch conservatives??? I am Liasie fare as they get, and I am some what right of Adams! We are FREE go buy or not but anyone can ask what ever they want for their PERSONAL PROPERTY!. Don't like, don't buy. Price gouging doesn't exist in a free market. Personally I try not to give stuff away, nor do I purposefully try to make outlandish profit, but this is a PERSONAL choice. I know how I view folks that try, but damned if I will fault them for asking in a FREE MARKET! All you Patriots should be ashamed!!! It is like bitching about a cover charge at a bar after 9:00 pm. If you wanted cheap you should plan ahead! Those that don't pay a "stupid tax".... Meaning I knew to get there early, but.i didn't and now it's your fault! How BLM can you get!
One thing you all are overlooking is the opportunit cost, it's right there in economics 101...... It's why you same guys pay $8.99 for two AA batteries at 7-11 instead of $3.12 at battery junction and wait 3-4 days to get them in the mail. Over a 156% mark up, and not even the bat of an eye! laissez faire equals major screwage for the common person. Look at what that approach has done to US manufacturing. By opening up the border to free trade cheaper items from other countries destroyed our manufacturing sector (with help from unions). I'm for small government, but I'm not anti-government. There needs to be light regulation in order to protect the consumers, especially those on the lower end of the economic spectrum. It should be limited to just items like food, medicine and firearms. I can list more reasons than you'll care to read as to why we need some regulation. Laissez faire is just like communism and socialism, works great on paper but due to human corruption it fails miserably.
So, to summarize, if someone does something with which you disagree, although it has no actual effect on you, it is morally acceptable to inflict physical harm on them.

I don't understand the rage. If I went to the store and bought a brisket, smoked it, cryovaced it, and put a $1100 price tag on it people would laugh and I'd have to eat it myself. But if it's an overpriced AR lower it's profiteering and will get you ran out of business. It's not food in the middle of famine or drinking water in a drought. I don't get it.
No, that's totally different. In this instance for that Anderson lower, the price shown was the opening bid, and was the same as the BIN price. So far there have been no bids on it.
Then explain why its only a few retailers and individuals scalping ammo that have those prices? Most reputable retailers have kept their prices the same. When they run out the opportunists put their items up for sale at highly inflated prices knowing someone will be desperate enough to pay that much. If you can't see how morally wrong that is for needed items like food, medicine, ammo, etc, well then I'm talking to a brick wall.
