I'd be lost in this crap if not for my Yaktrax. I just finished up locking down the campus and didn't slip once!

If you do a lot of walking out in the ice (like me) they're worth every penny!

Which ones do you have? Mine are the walkers, but I'm thinking of getting a set of the pros.

I'm just not sure they're that much different to justify the extra 10 bucks.

I had a set of pro's for years! Loved them. Last time I wore them out, I stepped up to the Kahtoola microspikes. Really helps in ice like we have down here today, but I still keep a pair of classic YT's for the light days.

DO NOT wear them on grating. We have them at work. Verbotten on the grating.

I have some off brand from Walmart or something. They still work fine
