For instance, I'm pretty meticulous with maintenance and preventative maintenance, and still lost an engine by "mishap". Was waiting one afternoon a few years ago for my son to get done with football practice and it was about 102 degrees outside. I got a little sleepy, leaned by seat back and dozed off. I woke up a little later to a shaking truck, steam going everywhere, a pegged temp gauge and heat. While sleeping, I lost a radiator hose on an 04' Ford Ranger 4.0l with 240k miles on it, that had been running like a top(at the time lol). Cratered it, and had to have it rebuilt. Things just happen sometimes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
